Bhadu Cabinets
Peace of mind

Our 7-year warranty.

Every project we make and install is covered by our 7-year warranty against defects in our materials and workmanship, alongside the manufacturer warranties on the hardware, benchtops and finishes we use. Here is exactly what that covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim.

Our promise

Bhadu Cabinets designs, supplies and installs custom cabinetry for Perth homes. We stand behind the cabinetry we make and install, which is why every project is covered by our 7-year warranty against defects in our materials and workmanship, on top of the manufacturer warranties that come with the hardware, benchtops and finishes we use.

This warranty is given by Bhadu Cabinets, Perth, Western Australia — contact contact@bhaducabinets.com.au or 0434 323 811. It applies to cabinetry we have manufactured and installed, and begins on the date your project is handed over.

What the 7-year warranty covers

For 7 years from the date of installation and handover, we warrant that the cabinetry we manufacture and install will be free from defects in our materials and workmanship when used normally in a domestic home and cared for in line with our care guidance. This covers:

  • The structural integrity of cabinet carcasses under normal domestic use — that they will not fail, come apart at the joins or delaminate as a result of a manufacturing or installation fault.
  • The workmanship of our construction and installation — joinery, fixings, alignment and the way the cabinetry is secured in your home.
  • Doors, drawer fronts and panels we supply against manufacturing defects, subject to the relevant manufacturer's terms.
  • The correct operation of the cabinetry as we installed it — doors and drawers that open, close and align as intended.

Manufacturer warranties on the products we use

The hardware, benchtops, boards and finishes in your project are made by leading suppliers and carry their own manufacturer warranties, which run in addition to our 7-year workmanship warranty. We help you register these on handover and keep the details with your project file:

  • Blum hinges, drawer runners and lift systems — covered by Blum's mechanical warranty.
  • Häfele fittings and hardware — covered by Häfele's warranty.
  • Caesarstone benchtops — covered by Caesarstone's residential warranty.
  • Polytec and Laminex boards, laminates and finishes — covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Tesrol thermolaminated and painted doors — covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Appliances or other third-party products we supply — covered by the relevant manufacturer's warranty.

Manufacturer warranties are provided by those manufacturers on their own terms and for their own periods, which may be longer or shorter than 7 years. Where a claim relates to one of these products, we will help you make the claim with the manufacturer.

How to make a claim

If you think something is covered by this warranty, contact us at contact@bhaducabinets.com.au or 0434 323 811. Please include:

  • Your name, installation address and a copy of your invoice or contract.
  • A description of the problem and when you first noticed it.
  • Clear photos of the issue, where possible.

We will assess the claim and, where it is covered, we will — at our option — repair the item, replace the affected part, or replace the item. We may need to inspect the cabinetry in your home first. Where a claim relates to a manufacturer-warranted product, we will help you lodge it with the manufacturer. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of the cabinetry itself and does not extend to consequential loss.
